SCADA international is a successful Danish company expanding rapidly internationally – producing hard- and software solutions for the wind industry. SCADA International has 50 dedicated and highly motivated employees.
The Job
As Manager US it will be your responsibility to establish the US office in Portland Oregon. The expectations will be approx. 20 - 30 employees within a 2-3 years period providing high quality and specialized SCADA systems, consultancy services, project management and turnkey solutions.
You tasks will include:
§ Development of the company's US sale strategy - and implement it within the framework of SCADA International’s corporate objectives
§ Implementation of customer and demand analysis, industry, market and competitor analysis to support the successful implementation
§ Ensuring profitability - pricing of our services to the US marked in short and long perspective
§ Leading the organization in all respects
§ Prioritizing goals and resources
§ Ensuring strategic collaboration with relevant partners
§ Supporting the development of back up or support functions - eg. technical support.
The success criteria will be development of a highly competent and result-oriented sales organization with high customer and employee satisfaction, through the creation of a lean/efficient company structure and processes.
Your profile
Your background is probably a technical or commercial education as Masters of Engineering or similar. Alternatively a Master of Business Administration with knowledge from complex, technical sales etc.
We expect that you have managerial expertise from a similar position as perhaps sales manager in a larger sales organization or Managing Director in a smaller organization - preferably from the wind industry. In addition you can document successful experience with:
§ Hard- and software solutions as project or sales manager
§ Generating growth - in the start-up period you can single-handed drive sales and foster growth
§ Handling complex negotiations and contracts.
You must be both strategically and operationally oriented and driven by a constant ambition to achieve results. You have strong leadership qualities and the ability to develop organizations and high skilled employees.
